ICONOGRAPHY
The third part of the LAKE A MIRROR project, created in 2026, is an iconographic exploration of paintings and photographs of famous artists also inspired by Lake Geneva, lakes, seas, oceans, light, mirrors… and to see if the LAKE A MIRROR images, these photographs, these raw limnigraphs (only slightly optimized in post-production for printing) of Lake Geneva—could humbly illustrate and put into perspective famous works. "Like-lake" limnigraphs of Hodler’s Lake Geneva paintings? Of Vallotton’s? … "Like-lake" of the famous paintings and photographs by Rothko? By Soulages? By Sugimoto? …
